About AI News
AI News follows what the world's main AI labs and companies publish, as they publish it, in one page. It is a read-only aggregator: it shows a title, a short excerpt and a link to the original, and it never republishes an article. It is run by YPETIT; the code is open source under the AGPL-3.0 at gitlab.com/ypetit-sandbox/ai-news.
Editorial method
- Primary sources only. Every entry comes from the publisher's own blog, feed, YouTube channel, podcast or sitemap. No intermediary is accepted: no other aggregator, no RSS bridge or mirror, no scraping of a third party's copy.
- Identity before coverage. A statement attributed to a person is only listed if it comes from that person's own blog or an account the platform marks as verified. Impersonation accounts are common, and a fake announcement is worse than none. X/Twitter is not covered: it has no public feed.
- No ranking, no rewriting. Items are ordered by the publisher's own date, newest first. Titles are cleaned of markup only; excerpts are the first 280 characters of the publisher's text. Nothing is written, summarized or scored by an AI model. On the language pages, titles may be machine-translated in advance; the articles themselves always stay in their original language.
- Recent items only. Items older than 60 days are dropped (longer for sources that publish rarely), each source contributes at most its 25 latest items, and a link published by two sources appears once.
- Honest gaps. A source that cannot be read is shown on the status page with the reason, and a company without a readable feed is listed on the sources page with a direct link instead of being silently left out.
What is tracked
59 sources, in six groups:
- Research (13): papers and research blogs, including arXiv technical reports.
- Blog (15): product and engineering blogs of labs and companies.
- News (6): announcements and press pages.
- Voices (16): first-party blogs and newsletters of researchers and executives.
- Community (2): independent publications run by recognized individuals.
- Media (7): official YouTube channels and podcasts.
The full list is on the sources page; every source and every category also has its own feed (RSS, JSON Feed).
Suggest a source
A source is accepted when:
- it is published by the lab, company or person itself (no mirror, no bridge, no aggregator);
- it offers a public RSS or Atom feed, or a public sitemap with article pages;
- it is about AI and has published within the last few months.
Suggest a source by email with the official feed URL, or write to ai-news@ypetit.net. Each suggestion is checked by hand before it is added.
Corrections and removal
A publisher who wants its feed removed, or a reader who spots a wrong title, date or link, can write to ai-news@ypetit.net. Content remains the property of its publishers; see the terms of use and the privacy policy.
